New!
I'm experimenting with wrapping wire around jewelry pieces and hammering them flat to give them the appearance that they are really a part of the metal.
My artwork focuses on subtleties in form, color and movement. I try to show the viewer beauty in simple organic images and shapes. When you see the different media I work in you will notice strong connections between them.

Fun with prints.
I have some of my photos for sale on FineArtAmerica. They can be purchased as framed prints, canvas prints, greeting cards and even metal prints. I wanted to see how the metal prints turned out before someone purchased one of my pieces in that form. I received one yesterday and it is very cool!It is very shiny and really crisp. The back has a wood frame attached so that it had a little distance to the wall when it hangs. It looks like it's floating. I really like it and hope you have a chance to check out my page on FineArtAmerica.

Finally!
I have had a canvas with only a background sitting on my easel for a while now! Today was the day to do something with it. Here is what I came up with. Somehow my sister's beautiful realistic drawing of an onion inspired me. This is my interpretation of onions. I was thinking about all the beautiful flowing layers. I know no one would ever think about an onion when viewing it! It's more about a feeling. I don't think it's quite done yet, but I will post it again when it is.
